Why exact dimensions matter
What happens if I upload the wrong size?
Platforms may crop or compress images when their shape differs from the display area. Starting from a recommended export size gives you a predictable canvas, but each platform can still crop it differently by device and placement.
Does FitShift upload my images?
No. Every conversion runs locally in your browser using the Canvas API. Nothing is ever transmitted to a server.
Is there a limit on file size or number of images?
No limits - the tool is free and unlimited because it runs on your device, not ours.
