Images and files
FitShift's image-processing code reads the selected file into browser memory, draws the preview locally, and creates a download on your device. It has no image-upload endpoint, account photo library, or server-side image database. It does not overwrite your original file. The exported copy is saved through your browser; your own download-folder sync settings may send it to another service.
Network and hosting data
The hosting provider may process ordinary request data such as IP address, browser type, requested URL and security events to deliver and protect the site. FitShift does not currently load analytics, advertising, remote fonts or third-party scripts.
Advertising
FitShift's published application source does not include advertising scripts. MakerPorch's main site has a separate advertising setup and privacy notice.
Local browser data
The FitShift application code does not set cookies or use local storage. This is not a promise that hosting and security providers never use their own cookies. The source preview uses a temporary object URL, released when another source is loaded or when the document is closed. Download object URLs are released after a short delay; that does not delete your downloaded file.
Limits of local processing
Local processing does not protect against a compromised device, browser extension, or information visible in the image itself. FitShift does not certify the output as free of every type of metadata. There is no account-based file retrieval or server-side copy for us to restore if you lose the download.
Email support and privacy questions
Emailing us is separate from using the image tool. We receive your email address and any message or attachments you send, and use Google Workspace to receive and reply to email. Contact support@makerporch.com for tool help or contact@makerporch.com for privacy questions. Please do not email private photos or identity documents.
