How labels work

Source recommendation means the linked guidance recommends that canvas. Source minimum is the lower end of an accepted range. FitShift export option is a size we provide, not a claim that the platform requires or recommends it. A contextual source, such as paper passport instructions, does not turn our chosen pixel size into an official requirement.

What was checked

The September 8, 2026 review checked the linked YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest and State Department guidance. Dates are shown only for those source checks. Other entries remain explicitly unverified. The Diversity Visa page links to program-year instructions, not certification for a future entry period.

Automated checks cover crop math, preset data and generated page consistency. They are not browser-wide export tests or proof that a destination will accept the file. Review dates do not update simply because the site is rebuilt.

Government photos

Pixel dimensions and file size are only part of an acceptable government photo. Always open the linked official instructions and follow all composition, recency and form-specific rules.
