How it works
- Pick a preset. Every page shows its output dimensions, aspect ratio, source note and any applicable file-size cap up front.
- Drop your image. The live crop overlay locks to the correct ratio; drag to choose what stays in frame.
- Download. Save a new image at the preset dimensions. If a capped export cannot meet its file-size limit, you get an error instead.
Why FitShift
Is it really free?
Yes. FitShift does not charge for resizing or require an account. Your device supplies the memory and processing power.
Are my images uploaded anywhere?
FitShift's image-processing code does not upload the selected file. Hosting requests and your own download-folder syncing are separate; see the privacy page.
Which size should I pick?
Choose the placement you need, then read its source note. Some sizes follow a linked recommendation; others are simply export options. Government pages need a separate check against the instructions for your application.
