Why exact dimensions matter
What happens if I upload the wrong size?
Government photo rules cover much more than pixels. A technically sized file can still be rejected for pose, head position, lighting, background, recency or form-specific instructions. Confirm the official source linked on each page.
Does FitShift upload my images?
No. Every conversion runs locally in your browser using the Canvas API. Nothing is ever transmitted to a server.
Is there a limit on file size or number of images?
No limits - the tool is free and unlimited because it runs on your device, not ours.
