Why exact dimensions matter
What happens if I upload the wrong size?
Government photo rules cover much more than pixels. A technically sized file can still be rejected for pose, head position, lighting, background, recency or form-specific instructions. Confirm the official source linked on each page.
Does FitShift upload my images?
FitShift's image code does not upload the selected file. The browser processes it locally. Loading the website still sends ordinary requests to the hosting provider.
Is there a limit on file size or number of images?
Each input is limited to 50 MiB (52,428,800 bytes) and 100 million pixels. A device can run out of memory below those limits. The tool handles one image at a time and does not impose a daily conversion quota.
